Here is a link on AJC referring to the rise in foreclosures in Atlanta. http://blogs.ajc.com/business-beat/2010/08/16/new-record-set-for-metro-atlanta-foreclosures/ The interesting comment from Barry Blamlett is “People are underwater and clearly many are making the judgment that a credit hit is better than throwing money away they don’t feel they’ll recover.” Hopefully this will clean itself up soon.
